Organic Indonesian Single Origin Coffee | Medium Roast
Wet-Hulled • Medium Roast • Roasted for Espresso
Rich, syrupy, and deeply satisfying, this organic Indonesian single origin coffee is roasted to bring out the full-bodied character that makes Indonesian coffee exceptional for espresso.
The traditional wet-hulled process, known as giling basah, creates a heavier body and softer acidity, with notes of dark cocoa, caramelized sugar, warm spice, and subtle cedar. The result is an espresso with depth and sweetness without an overly sharp or bitter finish.
Roasted fresh in small batches in Los Angeles, this is a coffee built for anyone who prefers espresso with body, richness, and a long, smooth finish.

Why We Love It
Indonesia produces some of the most distinctive coffees in the world, and much of that character comes from a processing method rarely found elsewhere.
With wet-hulling, the coffee's parchment is removed while the beans still contain significantly more moisture than coffees processed through conventional washed methods. That unusual step contributes to the heavy body and distinctive character associated with many Indonesian coffees.
In the cup, that means something very different from a bright, fruit-forward coffee.
Pull it as espresso and the dark cocoa and caramelized sugar become concentrated and syrupy, while warm spice and cedar add complexity underneath. Add milk and the coffee has enough structure to remain present rather than disappearing behind it.
The result is the kind of espresso we wanted this coffee to be: rich without tasting burnt, powerful without being harsh, and smooth without being boring.
If you prefer espresso with body and depth over sharp fruit-forward acidity, start here.
Brew it. Taste it. Then decide what Indonesian coffee means to you.
